I am Melany Wells and I’m your Miss Intercontinental Australia for 2023/2024. I’m a proud country girl,
who was raised on our family farm in the central west of New South Wales. Aside from being a full-
time beauty queen, I also work full time as an Administrator for a financial company, while also
studying a Bachelor of Education with the goal of becoming a primary school teacher.
“A wise girl knows her limits, but a smart girl knows that she has none” is a quote that has resonated
with me throughout my years of pageantry. Since I was a little girl, I have loved everything glamour
and beauty, with the dream to walk on the international stage alongside the most beautiful women
from all over the world. It seemed only fitting that when the Miss Intercontinental Australia crown
was placed on my head, I knew that this title was meant for me, and that little girls dream had finally
come true.

I have competed in many different pageant systems over the years, which has given me the
opportunity to fundraise for various charities, develop my confidence while also making some
lifelong friends along the way.

Throughout my reign I want to promote all the positive qualities that pageants have to offer young
women. I truly believe that the Miss Intercontinental system is a pathway to become a better
person, to gain confidence, while creating memorable moments and making new lifelong friends
from all over Australia. I feel so blessed to be a part of the Intercontinental sisterhood and I can’t
wait to represent the land down under at the Miss Intercontinental final later this year.
